Getting Support

There are avenues to receive support with using sites.usask.ca and WordPress at USask:

  • There are web resources, such as the guide you’re currently reading, and a few more linked from the LTE Toolkit: WordPress.
  • You may also connect with instructional designers within the Flexible Learning & Technology (FLT) team at the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning (GMCTL). They’ve been using WordPress for a variety of projects since 2013, and would be happy to help answer questions about how WordPress might be a valuable tool in your teaching and learning activities at USask. Email flt@usask.ca and the FLT team will try and help you find solutions to your specific problem.

Since WordPress is a vast, complex, and ever-expanding tool that would be very difficult to keep up with, the technical support available through USask is limited. ICT can help you resolve some technical issues, including problems with login or access. Contact web@usask.ca with any login issues. For other technical issues, such as issues using specific themes, you’ll need to locate other resources available on the web.
