Editing the site menu

The site menu helps readers navigate to the pages and information they are looking for. Below are two sets of slides that show you how to first, create a new page and second, how to add and remove pages from the menu.

As an example, in the image below, you can see the menu at the top of the page, with four links to pages across the site. The links lead to information about the site, information on teaching with Canvas, information on remote teaching (a page created specifically to support instructors during the first year or so of the COVID-19 pandemic), and a tool to search the site contents.

Add a New Page to Your WordPress Site

Depending on whether you use WordPress for a blog or a website, you will likely want to add at least a few pages, such an About page or Contact page.
