OER in Saskatchewan

Sask Polytechnic, the University of Regina (U of R), and the University of Saskatchewan (USask) have been using, adapting, and creating open educational resources for more than a decade for the benefit of our learners, instructors, and community, as well as at institutions throughout Canada and the U.S. Open educational practices (OEP), including OER, open pedagogy, open access publishing of research, open data, and open teaching continue to thrive throughout the province. We are hopeful that the SaskOER Network edition of a Pressbooks authoring guide and the provincial Pressbooks catalogue will serve to grow to more educational institutions across Saskatchewan.
