LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We recognize and honour the significance of all treaties across Canada, including all 70 historic and modern treaties established between Indigenous Nations and The Crown. We work to honor the true intent of these treaties in the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation. Contributors to our work come from across Turtle Island, reflecting the diverse nations, languages, and cultures that enrich this land. These include First Nations, Inuit and Metis people, the original inhabitants of this land.
We are deeply grateful to the Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded these lands and waters for generations. Through our work, we strive to honor their resilience and knowledge, actively engaging in decolonization and reconciliation processes to protect the land in a way that demonstrates honor, respect, and love.
